This was written by a guy... it's pretty damn smart. Girls -- Have a sense of humor!

One evening last week, my girlfriend and I were getting into bed.

Well, the passion starts to heat up, and she eventually says, "I don't feel like it, I just want you to hold me."

I said, "WHAT??!! What was that?!"

So she says the words that every boyfriend on the planet dreads to hear...

"You're just not in touch with my emotional needs as a woman enough for me to satisfy your physical needs as a man."

She responded to my puzzled look by saying, "Can't you just love me for who I am and not what I do for you in the bedroom?"

Realizing that nothing was going to happen that night, I went to sleep.

The very next day I opted to take the day off of work to spend time with her. We went out to a nice lunch and then went shopping at a big, big unnamed department store. I walked around with her while she tried on several different very expensive outfits. She couldn't decide which one to take, so I told her we'd just buy them all. She wanted new shoes to compliment her new clothes, so I said, "Lets get a pair for each outfit."

We went on to the jewelry department where she picked out a pair of diamond earrings. Let me tell you... she was so excited. She must have thought I was one wave short of a shipwreck. I started to think she was testing me because she asked for a tennis bracelet when she doesn't even know how to play tennis.

I think I threw her for a loop when I said, "That's fine, honey." She was almost nearing sexual satisfaction from all of the excitement. Smiling with excited anticipation, she finally said, "I think this is all
dear, let's go to the cashier."

I could hardly contain myself when I blurted out, "No honey, I don't feel like it."

Her face just went completely blank as her jaw dropped with a baffled, "WHAT?"

I then said, "Honey! I just want you to HOLD this stuff for a while. You're just not in touch with my financial needs as a man enough for me to satisfy your shopping needs as a woman."

And just when she had this look like she was going to kill me, I added, "Why can't you just love me for who I am and not for the things I buy you?"

Apparently I'm not having sex tonight either.

Being 100% with Michelle only frees me from restriction of my activities.

I am 100% honest about my true feelings with Michelle.

I am 100% open in our communication.

I think that Michelle is 100% open with me.

Expressing my feelings, especially about other people, with Michelle is better than keeping my feelings inside. Being able to express my true feelings with her is one of the reasons she is my significant other.

Other people could experience the same thing I share with Michelle just as easily as I do, if they know how to communicate effectively.

We played hackey sack a bunch this week.

This weekend has been eventful. We met with Eric the Landlord to resign our lease. Tim is here and partied with us at Ryan's last night. The party was pretty much exactly what I expected. I didn't want to go but my other friend Ryan agged me. They were indulging with things I'd rather not discuss openly (ask in email or something), they can choose to do what ever they want, and I'm glad I din't get involved with it. I basically had an unofficial party here last night before and after the party at Ryan's. Michelle had to work and never got to meet the girls I brought over. They were not easily amused and I think we bored them with games and geekyness. Half way through the party the girls' friend showed up and they left with him. While they were leaving, I was out back taking care of my poor friend Tim who was very sick from drinking. I wish I had a chance to say goodbye and wish them good luck before they left. I'm kinda glad they weren't there anyway. The party was pretty lame anyway. I like Liz, but I still don't know her as well as I would like. She told me she is shy around new people. Maybe when she's out of school she'll have more time to hang out.

I feel like posting a private entry about the details of the party.
I need to get some stuff of my chest.

I ended up not going to the "FULL AUTO" Shooting Event in Couer 'd' Alene. We didn't wake up untill 11:30pm today, since we were all reeling from the partying last night. We all decided to eat at sonic this morning. Since the opening of the new Sonic, I have eaten there Once a day for 3 days. I tried the Cheesy Tots upon a suggestion by my friend Dave. I like their food and the prices are reasonable. I also like their beverages except that there are not refills.

I still gotta take out the trash tonight. It's all ready to go out, I just forgot to do it earlier. I have been typing away since I got down here.

This photo was taken June 3rd 2001, at 8:35 PM, one day more than five years ago, exactly. Notice the lack of facial hair compared to today. I'm wondering if I should shave or not. My shit is getting bushy.... and sometimes I think people think I'm gross. I also had really short hair compared to what I have today. My hair is almost 600mm now.

This information is exactly why I quit band. I was unable to find out this information until today. When I asked other musicians about this, they either denied what I was asking or didn't know. Most recently, Otter, my room mate, told me that I was totally crazy, and that Middle C is Middle C no matter what. I don't disagree with him, but I couldn't explain why I would have to play C on my trumpet when the conductor asked for a b-flat.

Why didn't I look in the encyclopedia when I asked this question originally and no one could answer back in 5th grade?
Does a regular encyclopedia even have an entry like this?

I'm still not fully understanding, and strugling to transpose when I try.
